Shopping Settings (Pre-publish final SHOP review)

You may modify the settings on SHOP operation.

SHOP Privacy settings

  • If you wish to change the SHOP to Public Status, please click [Change the status to Public] on Shopping Settings. 
    • Once the shop is public, the SHOP becomes accessible to members for directly purchasing paid content and providing sponsorships. 
    • Once the SHOP becomes public, you may not revert the status back to Private, so please proceed with caution! 


▶ SHOP Name

  •  Please enter the name of your SHOP. You may change the SHOP name later. 


▶ Consent Items 

  • You can set the items that you are required to obtain consent from the customers upon payment.    
    • The customer may not proceed to the payment page unless they consent to the terms that you require. 
    • b.stage provides examples of the notice of collection and utilization of personal information (relating to the sales) and terms of service for payment services. 
    • Please be sure to review all the basic terms and modify them as needed based on operations policy for each store's operational policy. 
  •  You may edit the items by clicking the item that needs revision. 


▶ Points settings 

  • If you choose to implement a points-system, please proceed with points setting steps.
    • Implementation of the points-system may not be changed after the SHOP opens. 
    • The value of points compared to the standard currency is 1 point = 10 KRW, and points may be used in units of 1p. 
    • ex) 1,000p=10,000KRW
  • The value of points compared to the standard currency is 1 point = 10 KRW, and points may be used in units of 1 point. 
  • Name of points
    • This is the name of the points which will be shown to customers. (ex:  b.point) Please enter the name you wish to use. 
    • In using a special character, the name of the point can only contain ".(period)," and space is not allowed. 
    • If you wish to register multiple languages additionally, please click the pencil icon, which is the "Edit" button, then enter the multi-language options. 
  • Point Units 
    • You may only enter 1 alphabet character. 
  • Basic Earnings Rate Settings 
    • This rate is applied by default each time a product is purchased. (0.1%~99.9%, you may enter up to the first decimal place) 
    • Notwithstanding the basic earnings rate, custom rates may be provided for each product. 
  • Points Expiration Settings 
    • The period is calculated starting from the date the points are earned. 
    • Points validity period may be set by the unit of 1 year, between 1 year and 10 years.
    • Points Expiration Period may not be altered after the SHOP opens. Please make sure that you have selected the correct option.


▶ Exchange Rates

  • Please set up the exchange rate to support the payment currency that you have selected. Exchange Rate may not be altered after the SHOP opens. Please make sure that you have selected the correct option. 
  • How to set the exchange rate: the platform only supports manual exchange rates at this time. Please enter the exchange rates manually. 
  • Exchange Rate Settings 
    • Please keep updated in the exchange rate information and be careful in entering the exchange rate to avoid exchange risks due to incorrect entry of the exchange rate.
    • If the base currency is KRW, please enter the value of KRW against 1USD. 
    • You can reduce the spread of exchanging currencies through manually entered exchange rates or fixed prices for each product. 
    • Supported currencies and rounding rules for each currency are provided in the following. (Applied evenly to all product prices and points.) 
      • KRW (₩): shown up to whole numbers (Rounded up from the first decimal place)
      • USD ($) : shown up to the second decimal (Rounded up from the third decimal place) 


▶ Payment Method - Eximbay

  • Please proceed with Eximbay Settings to set up voucher and sponsorship product payments. 
  • One-time payment and recurring payment can be set individually.
    • One-time payment : Contents type for one-time payments includes vouchers for collections, timed license to use (one-time) and general sponsorship products. 
    • Recurring payments: Subscriptions and recurring sponsorship products are contents type for recurring payments. 
  • Payment Method Name 
    • This is the name that will appear when a customer selects the actual payment method.
    • For Eximbay, Digital product purchase support credit card and easy-pay options. Please enter the method of payment that will be shown to the customers including credit card and easy pay platforms. 
    • If you wish to register multiple languages additionally, please click the pencil icon, which is the "Edit" button, then enter the multi-language options. 
  • Precautions 
    • You may enter the message that a customer can see during the payment process. However, the following default text will be provided.
    • If you pay with a currency that differs from the currency that is shown on the product, you may be charged additional fees from the card company.
    • Additional evidence will not be provided aside from the credit card sales receipt for orders that were paid for using a credit card in accordance with relevant laws. Please put in any other special refund policies or other items the customers need to be aware while paying.
    • If you wish to register multiple languages additionally, please click the pencil icon, which is the "Edit" button, then enter the relevant language.
  • Payment Currency Settings 
    • Only the currency agreed upon with Eximbay may be used, and the used currency may not be changed after the SHOP opens.
  • MID, Secret Key 
    • MID and Secret Key provided by Eximbay and you entered are displayed. 


Payment Method - Paypal

  • Please proceed with Eximbay Settings to set up voucher and sponsorship product payments. 
  • One-time payment and recurring payment can be set individually.
    • One-time payment : Contents type for one-time payments includes vouchers for collections, timed license to use (one-time) and general sponsorship products.

  • Business ID
    • Please enter your PayPal business ID (e-mail).
    • Please click on the link for more details on setting up a PayPal account.


▶ Sponsorships

  • Sponsorships can be received through the star's Homepage or Content details page. If you wish to enable sponsorships function, please proceed with detailed settings in [sponsorship settings].  
    • Once the sponsorship function is enabled, "sponsor" button is created on the bottom of description pages for all contents and the homepage of the star's account. 
  • If you wish to enable sponsorship function, please change the status to [Use] at Sponsorship Settings > Use Sponsorships. 
    • If you do not wish to enable sponsorship function, change the status to [Do Not Use] at Sponsorship Settings > Use Sponsorships, then the sponsorship function will not be displayed on the website. 
  • If you make the sponsorship function disabled, all sponsorship products will be hidden from view. 
  • Basic Sponsorship Settings 
    • You can enter messages to convey to the customer who wishes to sponsor you. Please enter the sponsorship profile, greetings for sponsoring, and button name. 
    • Sponsorship profile: please upload a profile image that can represent the service and send a sponsorship greeting message to convey the message just like talking to your customer. 
    • The recommended size for the profile image is 400*400 px (1:1 aspect ratio), and supported formats are JPG, PNG and GIF. You can upload an image up to 5MB in size. 
  •  Sponsorship Greetings: You may enter a message of appreciation upon the sponsorship or additional information for the sponsors. 
    • Greetings may be entered in multiple languages. Click greetings, the multiple language edit box will be shown. 
  • Sponsorship Button Name: Customers will decide whether they will provide sponsorship by reading the message written on the button. It is recommended to compose the message in a friendly toned sentence. 
    • Also, the button name may not be fully displayed depending on the device, therefore we recommend making it short and concise. 


▶  Membership

  • You can offer your consumers a wide range of benefits, such as unique membership content / star posts and exclusive physical products (coming soon), among others.
  • To get started, click [Start Membership] to quickly establish membership features.


▶  Functions available as membership benefits 

  • Exclusive Membership Content
    • You can make all or a portions of content, such as videos, posts, and surveys, visible only to membership subscribers.
  • Exclusive Star Posts for Membership Subscribers
    • You can make star posts and surveys (in preparation of service at present) visible only to membership subscribers.
  • Purchase exclusive membership type products (In preparation of service at present).
    • You can set specific products available for purchase only to membership subscribers.
  • We are planning to expand membership benefits.


▶ Start Membership

  • Membership Type
    • b.stage provides two membership options. (At present seasonal membership is only available to select. )
    • Please select a type of membership that you wish to operate, and bring a whole new experience to your fans!
  • General membership
    • This membership type allows you to recruit and manage members with general, monthly memberships. (Ex: The March_2022 membership can only be used for one month in March 2022)
    • If you wish to provide general memberships every month, please select general memberships.
    • After selecting general membership type, click [Apply].
  • Seasonal Membership
    • It is a membership that recruits and manages membership subscribers for a specified period of time. (ex: 1st round/ 2nd round/ 3rd round, etc. activated only from Jan. 1 to Dec.31, 2022)
    • If you wish to deliver varying benefits for different seasons, please select seasonal membership.
    • After selecting seasonal membership type, click [Apply].
  • Check Membership Samples
    • If you create membership, a membership sample will be generated in the b.stage SHOP > Membership Menu in a temporarily saved state.
    • Please refer to the sample and modify it to reflect the membership you want to create.
