👉 Add Survey

  • To add a survey, click the [Add] button in the upper right corner of CONTENT > Surveys / Polls.

 

ⓐ Welcome Page

  • This page will provide customers with information about your survey before participating. Please enter the required details.

 

  • Title: Please enter a survey title. You can enter up to 150 characters.
    • You can also add multiple languages by clicking [Add a language] on the right. If not added, the content would be presented in the default language.
  • Body: Please enter the information you would like to share to your fans about the survey.
    • Please refer to here for entering the content and top image/thumbnail.


ⓑ Edit Items

  • This is a page that allows you to configure the questions and the entire survey.

 

  • Page settings
    • Select [Add Text] to enter a page title and description.
    • By selecting the photo icon, you can upload representative image within the page or search and add them via Unsplash. After uploading, you can mouseover the image, modify and delete it.
    • By selecting the language icon, multilingual settings are possible if the b.stage supports more than one language. If not added, the content would be presented in the default language.
    • By clicking the [⁝] to utilize the following features:
      • Duplicate page: Copy the page on the next page. (Example: Copy page 2, page 3 will be created. The existing page 3 will be pushed back to page 4.)
      • Move page: When clicked, a [Move Page] pop-up window appears, and you can adjust the order by dragging the mouse. When the adjustment is complete, click [Apply].
      • Merge with Page Above: Deletes the selected page, while merging the items to the above page.
      • Delete (Including Questions): Deletes the entire page, including the questions.

 

  • Item settings
    • Question: Please enter a question. You can enter up to 1000 characters.
    • Add Single select form: Please select among Single Select, Multiple Select, Subjective, and File attachment form.
      • For each question, you can upload an image or search and add an image through Unsplash. (Free Copyright)
      • You can add additional description or move the question to another page by clicking the [⁝] button on the right.

 

    • Add multiple select form: You can add multiple select options by clicking Add. (Only if the survey type is Single Select or Multiple Select).
      • You can add images of each option or you can add images of only some of the options, in order to help participants understand.
      • Click [Add "Other" option] to add the [Other] option. The text in it cannot be modified.
      • You can modify the order of the options by dragging the left [⁝⁝] icon that appears when each option is mouse-over.
      • In the case of multiple selections, you can click on [No limit on number of options] to set limitations. You can specify a number (e.g., mandatory selection of 2 items) or specify a range (e.g., choose between 1 to 2 items).

 

    • Subjective form: You can configure the Input format and Max characters as follows:
      • Input format: No restrictions, Letters only, Numbers only, Letters/Numbers, Date (YYYY-MM-DD)
      • Max characters: You can enter up to 500 characters
      • You can add messages to help participants fill in their answers. Ex) "Please enter only numbers"

 

  • File attachment form
    • You can configure the File format and Max attachments as follows:
      • File format: Image, Video, Audio
        • Image: File attachment form supports JPG, PNG, GIF formats with a maximum size of 10MB.
        • Video: File attachment form supports MP4, MOV formats with a maximum size of 50MB.
        • Audio: File attachment form supports M4A formats with a maximum size of 20MB.
      • You can set the maximum number of attached files between 1 and 5. (When file attachment is a mandatory field, participants must upload at least one attachment, but not necessarily up to the maximum number set.)
      • When a participant uploads a file, the file name will be modified automatically to include the user ID, survey question number, and survey ID. (UserID_SurveyQuestionsNumber_SurveyID).

 

    • The icon on the left allows you to duplicate and delete items.
      • Duplicate: Duplicate the item with the same questions and options.
      • Delete: Delete the item. You can't take it back after deleting it, so please proceed carefully.

 

    • Required item: When checked by clicking on a [Required Item], participants must answer the question in order to proceed to the next page and submit their responses.
      • You can add pages and questions through the icons below.
        • When you click the Page icon, the default page is added.
        • When you click the Single Select/Multiple Select/Subjective icon, the items of the selected survey type are added to the current page.

 

    • Move Page/Question Order
      • You can adjust the page order and question order using the mouse drag, respectively. The icon on the right that appears during a mouseover makes it easy to [Send to top]/[Send to bottom]. When the adjustment is complete, click [Apply].

 

    • Language Settings
      • If your b.stage supports more than one language, you can set up multiple languages by selecting the page you want. It can also be modified by the 'Language icon' at the top of each page.

 

    • Consent to Use of Personal Information: Set this to ON if you're going to include questions requesting customers' personal information.
      • Title (Required): "Consent to use of personal information" is set by default, but it can be modified.
      • Detailed Description (Required): Please add a detailed description of the personal information that will be collected through the survey, the purpose of use, how long it will be stored, and how it will be deleted.
      • Required Item: Please disable required items if you will allow customers to participate even if they do not agree to the collection and use of their personal information.


ⓒ Participation Conditions

  • Target Participants: Only membership holders can participate in the survey/poll.
    • After selecting [Make participation members-only], you can set the participation restriction by clicking [Select Membership].
    • This participation restriction is only active on b.stages where membership settings have been completed.

 

  • Participation Conditions: When providing content, SMS verification allows you to check submissions or limit the number of submissions by verifying participants' phone numbers. (This function is provided only for the PLUS plan.)

 

  • No. of participations: Set the number of poll participation. This settings cannot be changed after registering.
    • 1 per account (no duplicate participations)
    • 1 participation per account per 1 day(s.)
      • Select the time zone. This is the time zone customers will see on your b.stage; it will not be automatically converted based on their local time and cannot be changed after registration.
      • Daylight savings time and summer time are not reflected.
      • In the case of participating in a survey/poll once a day, the "participated round" field will be displayed when downloading the results in Excel.


ⓓ Settings

  • Default
    • Survey/Poll Thumbnail (Recommended)
      • You can upload image directly or search and add them via Unsplash.
      • If you choose not to add a thumbnail, a thumbnail will not be displayed on the Main Home and a basic background will automatically be applied to the Content Home.
      • The recommended size of the image is 1280*720pixels (16:9 ratio) and supports JPG, PNG, and GIF formats up to 10MB.

 

    • Tags (Recommended): Allows you to enter tags related to content. Adding tags will make managing your b.stage even easier.

 

  • Progress & Visibility
    • Progress Options: Allows you to set the launching timing or period of the survey/poll.
      • You can specify among [Launch now] / [Scheduled launch] / [End] / [Choose an end date].
      • If you choose an end date, the survey/poll would be end automatically on the designated date and time.
    • Visibility Settings: Allows you to set the display point of the survey/poll.
      • You can specify among [Publish now] / [Set time to publish] / [Private] / [Set last date to display].
      • If you set last date to display, the survey/poll would be unexposed on the designated date and time.

 

  • Replies
    • Show number of participants: Reveals the total number of responses to the survey/poll to participants. This setting can be modified after the survey/poll is registered.
    • Show participant status: Automatically add a comment to the "Participants" tab noting that "You are participant number ##". This setting can be modified after the survey/poll is registered.
    • Allow respondents to edit answers: After completing the survey/poll, participants will be able to modify their answers. However, if the survey/poll is not in progress, the answer cannot be modified regardless of this setting. This setting can be modified after the survey/poll is registered.
      • [Allow respondents to edit answers] determines the user's submission page. "Modifiable survey" navigates users to the submission page straightaway. "Non-modifiable survey" will have a message indicating that answer modification is not allowed.

 

    • Results Visibility
        • Hidden: Participants will not be able to view results.
        • Always visible: Regardless of the period or whether users participate in the survey/poll, they will still be able to view the results.
        • Display upon submission: Allow users to view results after submitting their response.
  • Survey
    • Display at end of survey: After the survey period, users will be able to view the results whether they participated or not.
  • Poll
    • Display after voting closes: Once the voting period has passed, users will be able to view the results regardless of whether or not they participated.

 

ⓔ Click [Register] on the top right, double-check all the information lastly, then click [Apply] to register the survey.

  • Survey Duplicate: Once registration is complete, a survey can be duplicated by selecting More in the top right corner of the detailed page, then selecting Duplicate. This allows you to duplicate all items such as Welcome Page, Items, Participation Conditions, and Settings, and the copy will be created in the [Save Temporarily] tab. However, if you duplicate a registered survey while editing it, the copy will reflect the modifications made at the time of copying, so it may differ from the final saved items later on.

👉 Add Poll

  • Collect opinion with 1 multiple-choice question!
  • To add a poll, click the [Add] button at the top right of CONTENT > Surveys / Polls.

 

ⓐ Enter contents

  • Fill in necessary details to register your poll.
  • Title: Please enter the title of the poll. You can enter up to 150 characters.
    • You may also add multiple languages by clicking [Multilingual Support > Settings] on the right. If not entered, it will be displayed in the default language.

 

  • Body: Please enter the body text to convey to fans about the poll. You can enter up to 1000 characters.

 

  • Cover image: Click the mountain icon on the right to directly upload the cover image of the poll or search and add it through Unsplash.
  • Title Alignment: Click the icon on the right to align the title to the left or center.

 

  • Question: Please enter your question. You can enter up to 300 characters.
    • By selecting the photo icon, you can directly upload an image within the poll or search and add it via Unsplash. After uploading, you can mouse over the image to edit or delete it.
    • Click the [⁝] button to add description for the question.

 

  • Answer type: You can set "Single Select" and "Multiple Select" answer types.
    • In the case of "Multiple Select", the following number of option selections are supported.
      ■ Unlimited number of selections
      ■ Specify a number: Participants must select "n" number of options.
      ■ Specify a scope: Participants can choose from a minimum of "n" to a maximum of "n" options.

 

  • Options: You can add multiple choice options by clicking [Add].
    • You can add images of each option or you can add images of only some of the options, in order to help participants understand.
    • Click [Add "Other" option] to add the [Other] option. The text in it cannot be modified.
    • You can modify the order of the options by dragging the left [⁝⁝] icon that appears when each option is mouse-over.
    • Click the [X] icon to delete the option immediately.

 

  • Button Name & Button Background Color: If you turn on [Button Name] and [Button Background Color], you can edit them based on the theme. Design it appropriately by checking [Preview].

  • Poll Duplicate: Once registration is complete, a poll can be duplicated by selecting More in the top right corner of the detailed page, then selecting Duplicate. 👉 Results

  • After registering the survey/poll, you can download the analysis results in Excel.
  • Excel password protection can help you keep your personal information more secure. The password you enter will be required when you run the Excel file. The password has no length and character restrictions.
  • When downloading Excel, you can check the date and time of the Submission and Last Modification(If allowed) / User Email & Language / Country Code (SMS Authentication) / Each Question and their Corresponding answers. (In the case of participating in a survey/poll once a day, the "participated round" field will be displayed when downloading the results in Excel.)
  • If the b.stage is suppored by multiple language, you can select the desired language from the drop-down menu. If you have only one service language, this menu would not be available.
  • When downloading Excel, both multiple-select questions and answers are presented in the language of your choice. (Survey only) In the case of subjective answers, they are presented in the language entered by the participant.
  • In the case of file attachment form items, a link to an image/video/audio viewer is provided instead of the original image/video/audio.


👉 Managing Surveys/Polls

  • You can view all the surveys/polls that have been issued.
    • You can view surveys/polls for each status from [Coming soon / in progress], [Ended], and [Save temporarily] tabs.
    • In the list, you can check the progress status, survey/poll title and tags, exposure status, last modified date, number of participants, views, comments, and reactions for each survey/poll. You can click the survey/poll name to go to the details page.
  • Survey: Question type cannot be modified after initial registration (e.g. Subjective ↔ Single Select / Subjective ↔ Multiple Select, etc.)
  • Poll: Answer type cannot be modified after initial registration (e.g. Specify a number ↔ Specify a scope)
